Biography Marcus has held senior leadership roles within a UK CAA-approved Initial Training Organisation (ITO), including serving as Accountable Manager for the UK’s only privately owned certified ATC training provider. In this capacity, he held full responsibility for regulatory compliance, safety oversight, training delivery, and organisational performance within a complex, safety-critical environment.
As Managing Director of Global ATS Limited, Marcus led the organisation through a period of significant growth, transformation, and eventual acquisition. He was responsible for global training and consultancy delivery, supporting Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), regulators, and aviation organisations across the UK, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Throughout his career, Marcus has built a strong track record of delivering international training programmes, securing major contracts, and developing long-term strategic partnerships. His experience spans the full lifecycle of aviation training operations, from large-scale programme mobilisation and regulatory approval through to performance optimisation and organisational scaling.
Marcus combines deep operational credibility with strong commercial acumen, bringing a practical, results-driven approach to solving complex aviation challenges.
Marcus now focuses on providing independent oversight and connecting organisations with the specialist expertise required to address industry challenges, including the global shortage of air traffic controllers.
